Choice of wheelchair

Maintenance of wheelchairs
(1) Before using the wheelchair and within one month, check whether the bolts are loose. If they are loose, tighten them in time. In normal use, check every three months to ensure that all components are in good condition. Check all kinds of solid nuts on the wheelchair (especially the fixed nuts on the rear axle) if they are found to be loose, adjust and tighten them in time.
(2) The wheelchairs should be dried in time in case of rain during use. The wheelchairs in normal use should also be wiped with a soft dry cloth and coated with anti-rust wax, so that the wheelchairs can keep bright and beautiful.
(3) Often check the flexibility of the movable and rotating mechanism, and apply lubricant. If for some reason the axle of a 24-inch wheel needs to be removed, make sure the nut is tight and not loose when reinstalling it.
(4) The connection bolts of the wheelchair seat frame are loosely connected and strictly prohibited from tightening.
For the elderly with lower body disability or mobility difficulties, the wheelchair is their second foot, so the choice, use and maintenance should be paid considerable attention to, and now many people are like this, after buying the wheelchair home, generally do not go to check and maintenance, in fact, this is the wrong approach. Although the manufacturer can guarantee that the wheelchair is of good quality, it cannot guarantee that it will be of good quality after you have used it for a period of time, so to ensure your safety and the best condition of the wheelchair, it needs regular inspection and maintenance.
